Guetteurs de sons explores the concept of scenic space through the repertoire of trios for percussionists and actors. The physical space, the energy space or the space of comfort required by a musician / an actor on stage can be fundamentally different. The sound levels, the space required for a conductor’s expression, the field of vision, the amount of lighting are many physical values which need to be dealt with on stage. In an original staging and a flexible setting, this program intends to go into the details of these concepts and confront them with our habits of musicians, and spectators.
